Her background is in finance and leadership management. She runs a maths club and a handmade centre for children during her free time.

Dr Anthony Dawson

Dr Anthony Dawson is Deputy Director, Assessment Standards and Quality with Cambridge International. After university, Anthony taught Physics in the Maldives for a number of years before beginning a career in assessment. He has been working in various roles within Cambridge Assessment for the last 26 years, 20 of which have been with Cambridge International. Initially he managed our portfolio of Physics and Computing syllabuses. As Deputy Director, Assessment Standards and Quality, he is now responsible for the standards of our qualifications.

Dr Lilian Dogiama

Born and raised in Greece, Lilian soon discovered her love of living abroad after gaining a scholarship to go to Berlin for a few months. Since then, she has lived in Canada, Turkey and the UK. In a former life Lilian was an archaeologist working in excavations and teaching archaeology at universities in Canada and Turkey while completing her PhD. Her first book based on her doctoral research is coming out in a few weeks. Lilian is also an accomplished publishing and assessment professional having worked as a translator, copy-editor, editorial consultant and assessment manager for 15 years, the last 7 of those at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. She recently made yet another career change to take up her current role as Head of Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging for International Education which combines her knowledge of education with her studies in anthropology. Living with a hidden disability has made her very passionate about accessibility, inclusion and the lived experience of other people. She speaks 4 languages, and she is the mother of a very energetic 3-year-old boy who keeps her on her toes!

Minal Desai aka the MasterNi is a second- generation 'Edupreneur' who builds schools for the future. She is a thinker, a doer and most of all a change maker. An enthusiast of systematic change, the MasterNi wants to create a vibrant community of passionate and empathetic people. And in order to do so, she sets a high standard for herself and the school which in turn pushes the limits of what is possible within a school. Besides Gems Genesis International School, she also helps with the operations and design of other schools in the city including Genius Gems, Shivashish World School and Wallaroos Tot Atelier. Her Youtube channel-Musings of a MasterNi is dedicated to the new-age education in India and through it, she voices her experiences shaped by students, teachers, and parents. She is an avid reader and off the clock, you might spot her diving into a documentary or a Bollywood movie, philosophising over chai, or playfully debating the real purpose of algebra. Who said reshaping education couldn’t be a blast?
