Prior to joining Cambridge International, Lauren worked in secondary education, initially teaching French and Italian and latterly as part of a school leadership team. Her remit focused on supporting students with special educational needs and disability, mental health and medical needs, and pastoral care needs. She has been a safeguarding lead, SENDCo and exams access arrangements assessor. Though her role sits in the Assessment division, Lauren works closely with colleagues in other divisions to raise awareness of the spectrum of special educational needs and disability and help to develop the accessibility of Cambridge International qualifications. She is also currently enjoying using her language skills on a part-time secondment managing some of the Cambridge International languages qualifications.
