Applying to IE University with international qualifications
IE University has been welcoming and nurturing students from around the globe for many years. Each year, an average of 130 nationalities are represented on its campus, with over 75% of its students coming from outside Spain. It is a popular choice of university for many students, including those with Cambridge International qualifications.
Accepting June 2020 grades
IE University fully supports Cambridge International’s process for awarding grades for the June 2020 exam series. Miguel confirms that results for June 2020 would be considered in the same way as in any other year.

Changes in teaching for September
IE University has been working to improve students’ online experience by incorporating new methodologies, techniques and tools into the delivery of its programmes and assessments. All programmes are being delivered using IE’s liquid-learning model of teaching. Miguel explains how this blended approach to learning permits students to attend class either in person or remotely; how students engage with the programmes is their decision.

IE University is a top-ranking university with a global reputation for high-quality teaching and more than 20 years of experience in online training. The university has a rolling admissions policy which means you can apply at any time of the year. All undergraduate courses are delivered in English and there are two campuses to choose from: one in Segovia (25 minutes from Madrid by high-speed train), the other in the financial district of Madrid (Barrio de Salamanca).
General entry requirements include a minimum of three A Levels in subjects relevant to your chosen programme; offers are typically in the range of ABB to A*A*A*. In addition to A Levels, strong IGCSEs are also expected. IE University prefers applicants to have obtained a minimum of five IGCSEs at grade B / 6 or above in subjects relevant to their chosen programme.
IE University takes a holistic approach to admissions. Successful candidates should not only be strong academically, but should also bring added value to the IE University community. This means that awards or accomplishments in extracurricular activities also form part of the Admissions Committee’s evaluation.
